UPDATE: Verizon instructed me to file a complaint so I did per their online process. I cannot get any info as to what action was taken. END UPDATE
At 1:15 p.m. on Mon, 9/5/22 I tried to obtain account and product information from this Corporate Verizon location, with the intent to purchase, pending answers. I have been with Verizon for about 15 years and already have multiple products. From the moment I walked in the door the man helping me radiated contempt and made no effort to answer my questions. He was avoidant, evasive and would not address my queries. I had very specific questions based on research and he had no response. Finally I asked him his name - MIKE - and told him sarcastically “thanks for all our terrific help” and walked out. While I was walking out he started screaming at me. “Hope you have a better day now” and “ You are not welcome here” was shouted at my back multiple times. He followed me out the door and was still yelling at me as I walked to my car.. It was out of line, inappropriate, uncalled for and ABSOLUTELY THREATENING. I have replayed this over and over trying to figure it out and have talked to others about it. I am a 60+ White haired woman with a lot of medical issues. I am small and non-threatening, but I was wearing a mask. All I can come up with is this man is bothered by masks, women, older women or people who ask intelligent questions. Steer WAY CLEAR of Mike - he is unbalanced - and yes, I’ll be taking this all the way to Corporate. You don’t get to act like this. It is NOT OKAY!
